David Berlinski
Clinical Psychologist
David is a compassionate and non-judgemental psychologist who will work collaboratively with you to create a safe and trusting relationship.
David will work with you to quickly get to the origins of your difficulties and help you process and work through your challenges in a healing and supportive way.
David holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne and incorporates a psychodynamic approach to therapy while also drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. David is also undertaking a three year core training program in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).
David is currently accepting new clients and has regular ongoing availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Afternoons.
Jessica Spigler
Psychologist
Jess is a psychologist who completed her studies and training in South Africa, working with children, teenagers, adults and families. She has experience and interest working in areas of attachment, crisis intervention, trauma, grief and emotional dysregulation as well as relationships with self, peers, spouses and family.
She further specialises in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents who may be experiencing difficulties across many domains and for diagnostic purposes.
Jess is further trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1) of couples therapy and utilises Gottman interventions with couples.
Jess approaches clients in a compassionate way. She believes that therapy can be a safe space to process and work through emotional distress and trauma whilst feeling heard, seen and understood.
Jess works from a psychodynamic process, but her overall approach is integrative - incorporating various modalities suited to each individual’s needs through a collaborative process with clients.
Jess is currently accepting new clients and has regular ongoing availabiity on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Ruby Bouhadana
Psychologist
Ruby works with adolescents and adults, providing individual therapy to improve mental health difficulties, wellbeing and to foster personal growth.
Ruby brings her warmth and compassion to develop trusting and safe relationships with her clients. She supports clients to build insights into their emotions and experiences and develop effective ways of managing difficulties to create change. Ruby believes in the importance of working collaboratively to explore her client’s life experiences, current difficulties, and goals to strengthen their sense of self and mental health.
Ruby’s therapeutic approach is person-centred, incorporating evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices.
Ruby is currently accepting new clients and has regular ongoing availability on Thursdays.
Lara Malabrodski
Psychologist
In her work as a psychologist, Lara prioritizes collaboration with clients to ensure that their journey is a joint effort tailored to their unique needs. By cultivating an open and supportive environment, she empowers clients to actively engage in their own growth and emotional healing.
Lara’s psychodynamic approach involves exploring unconscious processes that influence thoughts and behaviors, aiming to uncover patterns that may be impacting well-being. She places significant emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, recognizing its vital role in facilitating positive change. A strong, trusting alliance serves as the foundation for effective therapy, providing clients with a secure space to explore, reflect, and navigate their personal journey.
While Lara primarily works psychodynamically, she also integrates techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders, Interpersonal Therapy, and mindfulness practices.
In addition, Lara is experienced in working with trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Lara is bilingual, offering therapy in both English and Russian.
