Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Jess is a psychologist who completed her studies and training in South Africa, working with children, teenagers, adults and families. She has experience and interest working in areas of attachment, crisis intervention, trauma, grief and emotional dysregulation as well as relationships with self, peers, spouses and family.
She further specialises in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents who may be experiencing difficulties across many domains and for diagnostic purposes.
Jess is further trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1) of couples therapy and utilises Gottman interventions with couples.
Jess approaches clients in a compassionate way. She believes that therapy can be a safe space to process and work through emotional distress and trauma whilst feeling heard, seen and understood.
Jess works from a psychodynamic process, but her overall approach is integrative - incorporating various modalities suited to each individual’s needs through a collaborative process with clients.
Jess is currently accepting new clients and has regular ongoing availabiity on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
