Lara Malobrodski

Psychologist

Availability on Mondays and Wednesdays

In her work as a psychologist, Lara prioritizes collaboration with clients to ensure that their journey is a joint effort tailored to their unique needs. By cultivating an open and supportive environment, she empowers clients to actively engage in their own growth and emotional healing.

Lara’s psychodynamic approach involves exploring unconscious processes that influence thoughts and behaviors, aiming to uncover patterns that may be impacting well-being. She places significant emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, recognizing its vital role in facilitating positive change. A strong, trusting alliance serves as the foundation for effective therapy, providing clients with a secure space to explore, reflect, and navigate their personal journey.

While Lara primarily works psychodynamically, she also integrates techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders, Interpersonal Therapy, and mindfulness practices.

In addition, Lara is experienced in working with trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

Lara is bilingual, offering therapy in both English and Russian.

Lara is currently accepting new clients and has regular ongoing availability on Mondays and Wednesdays.
